So yeah, immediately after my A-Z I have to charge into another assignment. Fortunately this one is far less heavy, and long story short;

I've chosen these 4 weeks to look into the potential applications of 3D modelling, specifically Google SketchUP. Taking my recent piece; Zig-Zag ( [link] ) as a starting point, I tried to create a faithful representation of it, at the same time teaching myself, pretty much from scratch, everything about sketchup.

And from that, I chose 3 different angles, exported the model as a 2D graphic, then set about doing 3 speedpaints, representing the same situation from different angles, in different lights and seasons, to show how easy it is, due to the 3D model base, to create a LOT of variation from one basic starting point.

This is the first of the 3.
